Max2Math is an app designed for kids aged between 4 and 9 to learn, practice and enjoy mathematics.

We want to help families build up good habits in learning and practice for their kids and we understand the concerns of families particularly with young children about data and avoiding bad content.

To address these concerns - let's start with what we don't have

• There are no adds
• There are no in app purchases
• There are no links to other sites or apps

In summary all the content in the app is age appropriate and related to mathematical education.

Data collection

We store the minimum of data we need about a child in order to improve their education

• First name of child - you can use a nickname if you prefer
• Month, year of birth and school year - which is used to tailor the appropriate level of learning material
• Language, school system and ideal number of minutes for each lesson
• The lessons and answers the child gives to each question in a lesson - this is used in algorithms that run on the phone / tablet to monitor how the child is progressing and tailor future lessons. This data also allows a parent or teacher to review and analyse the child's progress so they can give targeted advice on questions the child is struggling with
