In Max2Math a lesson is where a child is asked a set of questions that are chosen to be suitable based on their age and the progress they have made with previous questions.

The child answers the question using the green button keyboard on screen. If they get the question right then they get a green tick. If it is wrong the input box turns red and they can try again up to 5 attempts. If they don't know the answer then they can use the "?" button to get the answer and for some questions this will play a short animation to help understand the answer.

There is a green progress bar at the top of the screen that grows after each question to show how near the child is to the end of the lesson.

The topic for each question is shown just below the progress bar.

At the end of the lesson there is a big green tick shown on the screen for a couple of seconds and then the app returns to the child's home page
